Hello Fusion Families, 2020-2021 Roundup will be held by appointment for both student and parent/guardian on Tuesday, August 11 for Grades 7-11 and Wednesday, August 12 for Grade 12. To begin the year, students will complete all online schoolwork at home. Meals will be ready for pickup at Fusion by request. Hello Fusion Families, The school year begins in three weeks with all students learning at home. Next week you will receive a call from the Fusion office about the best time of day for your student to connect with Fusion teachers. If your student is only meeting one time per week, we will ask about day of the week. We will confirm your internet access. Good afternoon, Fusion Families, We hope that you and your family members are well during the COVID pandemic. Like other Stanislaus County schools, Fusion will begin the year with distance learning on August 12. Students have a choice of weekly or daily online meetings with school staff. An open forum will be announced in August to get your input on our school program and a budget teleconference will be held on July 16 at 8:30am. The agenda is attached. Dear Fusion families, Spring report cards and Fall enrollment packets will be distributed in person at the Fusion Office when you return Chromebooks, chargers and wifi hotspots. The drop-in times are from 10:00 to 3:00 for the following grade levels: Thursday, June 11 for current Grades 11 and 12; Tuesday, June 16 for current Grade 10; Thursday, June 18 for current Grade 9; Tuesday, June 23 for current Grades 7 and 8. If you cannot bring in your Chromebook during the assigned times, please contact the school office at 209-667-9047. Thank you.

Thursday, April 9, is the last day to open or reset tests before Spring Break begins on Friday. Please contact your teacher to make sure that you have everything you need to access your courses if you are completing graduation requirements during the break. On Friday, April 10, 2020, from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM, up to five emergency meals for breakfast and lunch will be distributed to families who have completed and submitted the required form by Monday, April 6th. You may also text our emergency numbers with the required information so that Fusion staff can fill this form out for you by phone on Monday, April 6 before noon. Today, April 1 is Census Day. As you phone, text or email your census information, talk to your children about the questions and the people in your household. Protecting our families during this community health crisis is the reason that our schools will be closed until May 29 but learning will still continue. Although there will be no state tests during the school shutdown, all Fusion students still have the opportunity to earn graduation credits. Dear Fusion Families,
The shutdown begins tomorrow. Meals will be served by Turlock Child Nutrition to all children ages 2 through 18 who come to the site. If you are picking up a grab and go lunch at Cunningham Elementary from 10:00 am to noon, Fusion staff will be present to answer any questions. Fusion phone calls will reduce to once per day, to be sent after 4:00 pm, with all messages posted on our website at www.fusioncharter.org and on the front door of the office. Together we are strong and can beat COVID-19!

Fusion Families,
Tuesday, March 17, Fusion will be open for students who choose to come to campus and complete work the entire time. Students may instead choose to work off campus, with limited Chromebooks available for parents to check out by appointment.
Meal service will be provided through Wednesday at Fusion. TUSD Child Nutrition will be providing breakfast and lunch to all children, ages 2-18, starting Thursday through April 9. Students may pick up grab & go meals at Crowell, Cunningham, Earl, Julien, Osborn, Turlock, Junior High School, and Wakefield from 9:30 through 12:30.

To protect health and slow the spread of COVID-19, Fusion Charter is providing students with alternative support to work off campus in an independent study format. If you decide to keep your student at home today Monday, March 16 through Wednesday, March 18, please call the school at 209-667-9047. An appointment time will be given for your student to meet remotely via telephone with the teaching staff.
Fusion Charter will continue to provide information about nutrition services and will work to make sure that students can continue to earn credits toward graduation. If you need to pick up a chromebook or lunch today, please call the school at 209-667-9047 before 10am.
Fusion Charter encourages all Spartans to practice social distancing by avoiding crowded areas. Continue to wash hands frequently, avoid touching your face, cover your cough or
sneeze, and stay home if you feel sick.

Today the announcement was made that all TUSD schools will be closed, effective Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, April 19. To protect the health of our community and slow the spread of COVID-19, Fusion Charter will also restrict in-person instruction during this time and will provide students with alternative support to work off campus in an independent study format. If you decide to keep your student at home beginning tomorrow, Monday, March 16 through Wednesday March 18, 2020, please call the school at 209-667-9047. An appointment time will be given for your student to meet remotely via telephone with teaching staff.
During the closure period, Fusion will provide our families with information about nutrition services in our area and will work to make sure that students can continue to earn credits toward graduation. We will send updates once more information is available.

Dear Fusion Families, information from the county health department is updated frequently. Fusion has placed a message on the school website at www.fusioncharter.org with the latest news. While local schools are advised to remain open, Fusion is an independent study school with online curriculum. Any student may access assignments from any computer or phone with internet access. Students with family members in high-risk categories, such as the sick and elderly, may choose to work from home.
