Welcome to the Fusion Charter School website, home of the Spartans! We strive for an educational setting where students want to not only attend, but also learn. Where students benefit from each other and their relationships with each and every staff member, Families feel supported and partner with the school for the mutual benefit of their children. Fusion Charter will provide the tools necessary for the 21st Century learner.

Go Spartans!

Update #3, Sunday, March 15, 2020 @ 7:47pm

Dear Fusion Families,

Today the announcement was made that all TUSD schools will be closed, effective Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, April 19.  To protect the health of our community and slow the spread of COVID-19, Fusion Charter will also restrict in-person instruction during this time and will provide students with alternative support to work off campus in an independent study format.  If you decide to keep your student at home beginning tomorrow, Monday, March 16 through Wednesday March 18, 2020, please call the school at 209-667-9047. An appointment time will be given for your student to meet remotely via telephone with teaching staff.

During the closure period, Fusion will provide our families with information about nutrition services in our area and will work to make sure that students can continue to earn credits toward graduation.  We will send updates once more information is available.

As always, the safety and wellness of our Spartan community is our priority. Fusion Charter encourages all Spartans to practice social distancing by avoiding crowded areas.  Continue to wash hands frequently, avoid touching your face, cover your cough or sneeze, and stay home if you feel sick. Unless TUSD extends the date, Fusion will reopen on Monday, April 20.

Sincerely,

Susan Nisan, Principal

Update #2 Thursday, March 12, 2020 @ 7:16pm

Dear Fusion Families, information from the county health department is updated frequently. Fusion has placed a message on the school website at www.fusioncharter.org with the latest news. While local schools are advised to remain open, Fusion is an independent study school with online curriculum. Any student may access assignments from any computer or phone with internet access. Students with family members in high-risk categories, such as the sick and elderly, may choose to work from home.

Update #1 Monday, March 9, 2020 @ 5:17pm

Dear Fusion Families, We are sanitizing all frequently-touched surfaces and taking steps to keep students and staff healthy. We need your help to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and other flu viruses at Fusion. Please remind all family members to wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Stay home when sick and cover your cough or sneeze. Call the school for more information about how to complete work at home. Fusion will send out frequent messages to keep you updated on the status of our school. Thank you.
